This policy governs the use of Shalom Dhwani Matrimonial, a faith-based matrimonial service for the Pentecostal community. By registering, posting a profile, or contacting a family through this service, you agree to these guidelines. For step-by-step help, see How to Use Shalom Dhwani Matrimonial.
1. Purpose & Christian foundation
The service exists to help believing families find a God-fearing life partner in a manner that honours Christ and the Church. It is offered as a ministry of introduction, in a spirit of prayer, honesty, and mutual respect — “Marriage is honourable in all” (Hebrews 13:4).
2. Who may use the service
- Members of the Pentecostal / Christian community who are genuinely seeking marriage, and parents or close family posting on their behalf.
- The candidate must be of legal marriageable age and free to marry.
- One person must not create profiles for others without their knowledge and consent.
3. Accurate & honest information
- All details — age, marital status, church, education, occupation, and photograph — must be true and current.
- Withholding a material fact (for example, an existing marriage or a serious matter affecting the proposal) is not permitted.
- Profiles found to contain false or misleading information will be removed.
4. Review, approval & moderation
- Every account and every profile is reviewed by the Shalom Dhwani office before it becomes visible.
- Any edit to a live profile is re-reviewed before the change appears.
- We may edit obvious errors, decline, or remove any profile at our discretion, in keeping with this policy.
5. Photographs
- Upload only a decent, recent photograph of the candidate, submitted with their consent.
- Do not upload photographs of other people, celebrities, or images you do not have the right to use.
6. Privacy & your contact details
- The details you enter on a profile may be shown publicly on the site. Please share only what you are comfortable making public.
- A Reference No. is provided so families can enquire through our office. A phone number is shown publicly only if you choose to add one.
- Contact details obtained here must be used only for a genuine marriage enquiry.
7. Acceptable use
- Approach every family with courtesy, honesty, and Christian charity.
- Make your own careful enquiries and verification before any commitment.
- Keep another family’s information private.
8. Prohibited use
- Fake, duplicate, or impersonated profiles.
- Harassment, indecent messages, dowry demands, or any unlawful conduct.
- Using the service or its contacts for advertising, solicitation, or commercial purposes.
- Collecting or misusing other members’ contact details.
9. Removal, suspension & complaints
We may suspend an account or remove a profile that breaches this policy. To report a concern, a false profile, or misuse, write to matrimonial@shalomdhwani.com with the Reference No. We will act prayerfully and fairly.
10. Important disclaimer
Shalom Dhwani Matrimonial facilitates introductions only. We do not, and cannot, independently verify every claim in a profile, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any information or the outcome of any proposal. The decision to proceed with a marriage rests entirely with the families concerned, who are responsible for their own due diligence. Shalom Dhwani accepts no liability for the conduct of members or the results of any introduction.
